User agreement

These terms apply to guests, private vehicle owners and rental businesses using the Pick a Drive website and mobile app. Read the Privacy Policy and Booking Fee Refund Policy alongside them.

1. The operator and the rental provider

Pick a Drive is operated by North Growth Lab LLC, a Wyoming, United States limited liability company, entity ID 2026-002065469. The contact and mailing address are below. This version applies prospectively. Earlier bookings with Individual Entrepreneur KABIDENOVA MADINA retain their original contracting party, payment history and rights; they are not silently transferred to the LLC.

Pick a Drive provides the marketplace, booking coordination and messaging. The owner or rental business identified in a listing supplies the rental. The rental contract is between that host and the guest. Unless expressly agreed separately, Pick a Drive is not the vehicle owner, lessor, carrier, insurer or guarantor of the rental.

Hosts act independently and cannot bind the platform or represent it merely because they have an account. These descriptions do not override duties imposed by law or arising from the platform’s actual conduct.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate account and business information, protect your login and report unauthorised access. Do not use another person’s identity or allow an unauthorised driver to use a booked vehicle.

You must have the legal capacity to enter the relevant agreements and satisfy the rental’s age, licence, local driving and insurance requirements. Identity verification does not replace a valid licence, the required vehicle category or documents recognised at the rental location.

3. Requests and bookings

Registration and availability requests are free. A host normally has 1 hour to respond; after approval, the guest normally has 1 hour to pay the platform fee. Check the deadlines and current status shown for the particular request. Host approval alone is not confirmation of payment.

The reservation is confirmed and the booking chat opens after the platform verifies successful payment. A return link from checkout alone is not proof of payment. If a payment is pending or under review, contact support instead of paying again.

4. Prices and the platform’s 20% fee

The platform collects its own booking fee: 20% of the rental price after applicable discounts, rounded to the payment currency’s supported unit. This fee belongs entirely to Pick a Drive; it is not money held for the host. The guest pays the remaining 80%, agreed delivery charges and any security deposit directly to the host.

The checkout identifies the merchant, payment provider, amount and currency before payment. New LLC platform fees use Stripe when enabled. Whop remains relevant only to existing checkouts and their payment/refund history. The platform does not collect the host’s direct balance or provide escrow or insurance. Do not pay again if an earlier payment is under review.

Mandatory charges, deposit terms and rental restrictions must be disclosed before payment. Optional extras require agreement; the host cannot impose an undisclosed mandatory charge after the booking fee is paid. Bank conversion or other third-party charges are separate from the platform fee.

5. Host responsibilities

Only list vehicles you are legally entitled to rent out. Keep descriptions, availability, location, prices, vehicle condition, permits and insurance information accurate. Maintain roadworthiness and safety and comply with local rental, registration, tax and insurance obligations.

Before payment, disclose the full rental terms, security deposit and its return conditions, delivery, mileage limits, insurance coverage, exclusions and deductible, cancellation conditions and any allowed substitute vehicle. Do not promise insurance, zero deposit or free cancellation without a valid basis.

Check the guest’s required original driving documents at handover. Supply the agreed safe vehicle and fulfil handover, return and deposit obligations. A platform verification badge does not transfer these duties to Pick a Drive.

6. Guest responsibilities and handover

Read the listing and rental terms before paying. Check that your documents permit you to drive that vehicle at the rental location. Pay the agreed direct balance and deposit to the host, obtain evidence of payment and follow the rental conditions and traffic laws.

Inspect the vehicle at collection and return. Record existing damage, fuel, mileage and agreed handover details with the host. Do not drive a vehicle you reasonably consider unsafe; notify the host and support. Responsibility for damage, fines and other losses depends on the facts, the rental contract, insurance and applicable law, not on an automatic platform determination.

7. Cancellation and refunds

The Booking Fee Refund Policy governs the platform’s own 20% fee. In particular, voluntary cancellation at least 24 hours before the agreed handover qualifies for a full refund of that fee; later cancellation is reviewed on its circumstances without limiting mandatory rights. Host non-supply and erroneous charges qualify as described in that policy.

The host’s rental balance and deposit are separate. The host must disclose its conditions before payment. A host’s cancellation label does not override the platform’s fee refund policy. Account deletion or sending a complaint does not itself complete a refund or change a booking’s status.

8. Verification and personal data

Guests and hosts complete the same identity check: a live selfie and one supported identity document of their choice (passport, national ID card or driving licence). A driving licence used as ID does not certify permission to drive. The host enters vehicle details; Pick a Drive does not inspect vehicles or verify Bluebook, ownership or insurance documents. Identity verification does not certify vehicle safety, ownership, insurance or driving eligibility. Participants remain responsible for the applicable rental and driving requirements, including checks at handover. Mandatory rights and the platform’s own obligations remain unchanged.

The Privacy Policy explains our processing and external providers. Acknowledging that policy is not consent to advertising or unrestricted biometric processing. Any required verification consent is requested separately before the relevant check.

9. Content and acceptable use

You retain rights in your content and permit Pick a Drive to host, display and transmit it as necessary to operate the listing, booking, review and support functions. Only submit content you may lawfully use. Do not publish identity documents, card details or unnecessary third-party personal data.

Fraud, unlawful rentals, harassment, misleading reviews, unauthorised access and attempts to evade agreed platform fees are prohibited. We may restrict relevant listings or functions to investigate abuse or protect users, giving reasons and a way to contact support where lawful. Restrictions do not remove an existing refund entitlement or lawful access to remedies.

10. Allocation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Pick a Drive does not assume an independent host’s rental obligations concerning supply, condition, maintenance, delivery, deposit, direct payments or insurance, and does not guarantee a guest’s payment, return of the vehicle or conduct. Claims about those obligations should be addressed to the responsible participant; support can assist with the platform-related part.

The operator remains responsible for its own platform services, fee handling, statements, data processing and other duties imposed by law. This agreement does not exclude responsibility for our own breach, fraud or misleading verification claims, nor liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights relating to injury and property damage.

Nothing waives mandatory consumer rights, access to competent courts or regulators, or remedies required by law. No blanket release, automatic indemnity for every platform loss or arbitrary liability cap is imposed.

11. Support and complaints

Contact /support or the email/postal address below. Include your booking reference, the facts, relevant evidence and the outcome you seek. Never send a password, full card number or CVV. We review the platform-related complaint and communicate the outcome; statutory complaint deadlines and remedies continue to apply.

A refund request can be submitted through the Payment topic. You may challenge a verification decision through Account verification. You may contact competent authorities or pursue legal remedies without waiving those rights or paying a platform complaint fee.

12. Versions, applicable rules and changes

The version and language presented when you expressly accept are recorded with the server time. This release applies prospectively; it does not backdate consent or retrospectively reduce rights under an already paid booking. Material changes are notified and fresh acceptance requested where required.

Applicable law and jurisdiction follow relevant legal rules, including mandatory consumer protections and rules at the rental location. US incorporation does not displace Thai or other mandatory law. These terms impose neither exclusive foreign jurisdiction nor mandatory arbitration.

The five language versions are intended to have the same meaning. A translation discrepancy must not reduce mandatory rights; contact support to clarify it. No language has automatic priority over those rights.
